Emerald board approves routine business, appoints new clerk
At its Sept. 9 meeting the Emerald Town Board approved routine agenda items and financial reports, accepted Clerk Lorelei Wink's resignation, appointed Jake Nadeau as clerk for the remainder of the term and set training compensation for Wink at $21 per hour.

The Emerald Town Board convened at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, 2026, and carried a series of routine motions covering the agenda, prior minutes, the treasurer's report and payables. Motions were made and seconded by members of the three-member board and all were recorded as carried unanimously.
