Troy committee backs Unified Development Code, asks law director to sign off on removing 'morals' from purpose
The Community & Economic Development Committee recommended the city council adopt Ordinance O392026 (the Unified Development Code), approving the package as drafted with one amendment: delete the word "morals" from the code's purpose statement, subject to the law director's review. The committee also asked planning staff to count existing tobacco/vape shops for a future cap.
