The Larimer County Board of County Commissioners adopted two proclamations on Oct. 13 recognizing October 2026 as Community Planning Month and Code Compliance Month. Rebecca Everett, Community Development Director, described planning and code compliance as closely linked functions that help the county "put our values into action through codes, through development, through policies, and through what we protect." The board approved the proclamations on unanimous voice votes and paused for photos to honor staff.
