EMS remount estimate of $148,000 presented; commissioners approve payables and note mill-levy decrease
EMS Director Brian Mongeau reported a $148,000 remount estimate for ambulance #22 and an expected 90-day turnaround beginning the week of Aug. 12. Commissioners approved special payables of $2,823.45, regular payables of $243,419.74 and payroll of $154,293.59; they discussed publishing the budget and Chairman Fox said the mill levy will decrease 1.799.

At the July 22 meeting EMS Director Brian Mongeau told the Greenwood County Commissioners that a representative from Osage inspected ambulance #22 during remount discussions and that a compressor in the vehicle’s air conditioner failed while the truck was in for service. Mongeau reported a rough remount estimate of $148,000.
