Resident LeRoy Shepard asked the Select Board to grant an exception to Mapleton's 2022 cemetery policy so his family plot could accommodate six burials instead of the five permitted under the policy. Shepard also told the board he holds a will in which a burial space owned by Kathrine Fox was willed to him by his aunt.
