Beltrami County approved a countywide classification and compensation study with Baker Tilly after a competitive RFP process. The last comprehensive study dated to 2013; county human resources staff told commissioners that a modern review is necessary to ensure accurate job descriptions, appropriate classification and market‑aligned wages.
