The board authorized janitorial and assessor contracts, approved utility permits and surplus disposals, and ratified the SouthEast Nebraska Development District interlocal agreement and bylaws.

At its Dec. 9 meeting the Seward County Board of Commissioners approved several routine administrative items and contracts. The board authorized the chair to sign a janitorial contract with Campbell Cleaning covering the Courthouse, Justice Center and West Wing. The board also approved two contracts with Vanguard Appraisals: an Assessor website renewal and an assessor archive contract presented by County Assessor Marilyn Hladky.
