Wauneta officials raise concerns about daytime coverage as county seeks higher contracted rate

Representatives of the Village of Wauneta told the Chase County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 27 that a proposed increase in the county’s police service contract rate felt substantial and that the village would like more visible daytime patrols and attention to school-zone safety.
