At the Feb. 10 meeting the Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners approved several routine items and directed staff on follow‑up steps. The board approved a $250 donation to the Kit Carson After Prom (motion by Commissioner Pelton, second by Commissioner Jolly) and asked Chandler Kent to design needed electrical upgrades at the fairgrounds and to be compensated for the design work prior to putting the project out to bid.
