After meeting in a closed session to review an attorney memorandum regarding waste hauling, the Grosse Pointe City Council authorized a settlement release with Waste Management on Jan. 13. The motion authorized the City Attorney to finalize the documents and delegated authority to the City Manager to execute them on the city's behalf.
