Mahaska County Board sets 2026 mileage rate, approves routine contracts and payroll change
At its Jan. 20 meeting the Mahaska County Board of Supervisors set the 2026 mileage reimbursement at $0.725 per mile, renewed a no-cost lobbyist agreement, approved Security Equipment quotes and a Recorder’s report, and approved removing an employee from the Treasurer’s payroll; wage increases and courthouse closure for training were tabled.

OSKALOOSA, Iowa — The Mahaska County Board of Supervisors on Jan. 20 approved a set of routine administrative actions and set a mileage reimbursement rate for 2026.
