Angleton council adopts 2024 building and 2023 electrical codes, effective Oct. 1
After a continued public hearing and staff cost analysis, the Angleton City Council voted to adopt updated building, mechanical, plumbing and energy codes from the 2024 International Code Council family and the 2023 National Electric Code, with the ordinance conditioned to take effect Oct. 1, 2026.
