After executive session, commission votes to non-suit Denali case

Attorney Amber Shaw requested the courtroom be cleared so commissioners could move into executive session to discuss the Denali matter; the meeting record shows executive session ran from 6:09 p.m. to 6:31 p.m. After the closed session, Commissioner Danny Hartsfield moved to follow Attorney Amber Shaw’s recommendation to non-suit the Denali case and to re-file if Denali resumes actions in the county. Commissioner Joe Pursell seconded the motion, which passed by roll call, 19 Ayes, 0 Nays, and 4 Absent.
