Executive Director David N. Hunter reviewed revisions to the Planning Commission's draft Utility Scale Solar Advice, noting wording updates in sections 1, 2, 4, 5 and 8, the addition of sections 12 and 13, and the inclusion of a hyperlink to the Pennsylvania Climate Action Plan. Hunter also reported that a state bill first introduced in 2023 addressing solar siting and the proliferation of solar farms has been reintroduced this session.
