At its Nov. 19 meeting the Skagit County Planning Commission recommended the Board of County Commissioners approve several 2024 comprehensive plan and code amendments — including Airport Environs Overlay updates and fencing restrictions — and denied a Bayview Ridge light-industrial buffer reduction; one vehicle-storage amendment passed 7–1.
