Arlington Board makes multiple appointments and issues April proclamations
The County Board reappointed and appointed members to several advisory boards and commissions and issued proclamations recognizing National Public Safety Telecommunications Week (April 13-19, 2025), Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (April 2025), Arlington Correctional Employees Week (May 5-9, 2025), and the Month of the Military Child (April 2025).

The Board approved a slate of appointments and reappointments across advisory bodies: David Carlson was reappointed and designated co-chair of the Arlington Partnership for Children, Youth & Families (term ending June 30, 2025); Johnny Mendez and Jose Penaranda were reappointed to the Board of Equalization of Real Estate Assessments (terms to December 31, 2025); Allison Carpenter was appointed to the Community Criminal Justice Board (as Chief Public Defender); Deborah Warren was listed in relation to the Community Services Board; Joshua Dansby was appointed to the Community Oversight Board (term ending March 31, 2029); and Wesley Mehr and Robert Vaughn were reappointed to the Crystal and Pentagon Cities Board with terms indicated in the record.
