Committee approves Village of La Farge scope change for campground project
Vernon County approved a scope amendment to a 2026 Community Development grant for the Village of La Farge to reallocate leftover funds from campsite concrete pads to picnic tables, fire rings and blacktopped approaches.

The committee approved a project-scope change request from the Village of La Farge for a 2026 Community Development grant. Amy Oliver said the total project cost to pour concrete pads at four campsites was less than estimated and the village requested the remaining funds be used "to purchase a picnic table and fire ring for each site, and to blacktop the approaches at each site." Scott Champion moved to approve the scope change; Alycann Taylor seconded and the motion was approved unanimously.
