Kennett Square launches multi-year comprehensive plan process with Michael Baker International
Council heard a presentation from Michael Baker International detailing a multi-year comprehensive plan process required by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, with public engagement through 2026 and materials (including Spanish translations) planned for outreach.

At the Sept. 10 meeting Borough Manager Kyle Coleman introduced Michael Baker International staff who outlined the Borough—omprehensive plan process. Project manager Samantha McLean said the effort will include research, community engagement, focus-topic reports and a future land use map, running through 2025 and into 2026 with additional engagement and a final adoption targeted for late 2026.
