Fillmore County Board adopts 2009–2010 budget and sets local levies
The Fillmore County Board of Equalization adopted the 2009–2010 county budget (Resolution 2009-29) and recorded levy rates for county funds, school districts and local taxing units after a public hearing with no testimony. The county’s 2009 valuation rose to $1,016,115,781.

The Fillmore County Board of Equalization adopted the fiscal year 2009–2010 budget on Sept. 8, 2009, approving Resolution 2009-29 after a public hearing that drew no testimony. County Assessor Joan Ackland told the board the county’s total taxable valuation for 2009 is $1,016,115,781, an increase of $82,267,018 from 2008; she also reported the average home value in the county at $59,730.
