Carroll County designates Solid Waste director as FEMA applicant agent
Carroll County Fiscal Court approved a resolution naming PJ Harmon-Knight — now Solid Waste Director — as the county’s FEMA applicant agent and assigned FEMA and flood-plain duties to the role.

Carroll County Judge Executive Harold “Shorty” Tomlinson told the Fiscal Court on April 12 that PJ Harmon-Knight has been appointed Solid Waste Director and will also handle FEMA and flood-plain responsibilities for the county. The court approved a resolution designating Harmon-Knight as the county’s FEMA applicant agent after a motion by Magistrate Kerry Graham and a second from Magistrate Floyd Bowling.
