Sequim staff to move from plan-writing to implementing comprehensive plan; housing workshop planned

Carla Boughton, Director of the Department of Community and Economic Development, told the council that Sequim''s comprehensive plan update and Title 18 zoning rewrite are largely complete and that staff''s next step in 2027 will be implementing the new plan. "Our goal for next year is to start implementing the comprehensive plan," Boughton said, noting the city will also institute an annual code amendment process to keep ordinances current.
