Arapahoe County Planning Commission recommends approval of group-living code update
The Planning Commission voted 5-0 Oct. 6 to recommend a land-development-code amendment that clarifies definitions for group homes and group residential facilities and aligns county rules with the Fair Housing Amendments Act; the item will go to the Board of County Commissioners for a Nov. 10 public hearing.

The Arapahoe County Planning Commission voted unanimously Oct. 6 to recommend approval of LDC25-002, a rewrite of the county's group-living definitions intended to clarify which residential arrangements are protected by the Fair Housing Amendments Act.
