Marion County Planning Commission approves change to plat‑recording rules, votes on multiple plats
At its Aug. 5, 2025 meeting in Jasper, the Marion County Regional Planning Commission approved a modification to Section 309 of the county Subdivision Regulations on plat‑recording procedures, approved a variance and final plat for the Graham Subdivision, and denied several final plats for missing documentation; one plat was withdrawn pending TDEC soil testing.

The Marion County Regional Planning Commission on Aug. 5, 2025, at the Lawson Building in Jasper approved a modification to Section 309 of the Marion County Subdivision Regulations governing plat recording procedures following a public hearing and unanimous vote.
