Powell County Fiscal Court voted on Feb. 13, 2018 to accept a letter from Middlefork Fire Rescue requesting removal of board member Joe Bowen for inactivity and to appoint Magistrate Timmy Tipton to the board, the minutes show. Magistrate Keith Hall moved the appointment, Magistrate Donna Gabbard seconded, and the court recorded unanimous ayes.
