At its Jan. 6 meeting in Stapleton, Morgan Hecox asked the Logan County Planning Commission to consider permitting on-site composting at Sandhills Equine Veterinary Services. The commission did not vote on a permit; instead, the board and Keith Marvin, the county zoning advisor, agreed to research options for granting such a permit.
