Fillmore County adopts updated comprehensive plan, zoning regulations and subdivision rules
After public hearings on Jan. 22 the Fillmore County Board approved a revised comprehensive plan, new zoning regulations and an updated official zoning map, and also updated county subdivision regulations covering multiple villages.

The Fillmore County Board of Supervisors voted on Jan. 22, 2013 to adopt a set of major planning documents that revise the county’s long‑range planning framework. Planning & Zoning Administrator Donna Mainwaring and consultant David Potter of JEO Consulting presented the proposed changes and led a public hearing at the courthouse. The planning commission had recommended the updates following its public hearing.
