County authorizes airport litigation over PFAS contamination

Supervisor Hirsch explained a resolution authorizing Eau Claire County to act on behalf of the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in PFAS litigation related to contamination at the airport. He said the airport's prior delegation of legal services needed to be delegated back to the county for efficient handling and that counsel and charities were available to discuss the issue in closed session earlier.
