Chittenango board approves uniform longevity pay schedule for village employees
Trustees approved a standardized longevity-pay schedule to be paid July 1: $750 at 5 years, $1,250 at 10, $1,750 at 15, and $2,250 at 20. The change will equalize longevity pay across departments.

Village Administrator Robert Freunscht recommended standardizing employee longevity pay to be the same across all departments. He presented a schedule to take effect with pay distributed July 1: $750 at five years, $1,250 at ten years, $1,750 at 15 years and $2,250 at 20 years of service.
