Land Bank demolition frees two-acre Endicott parcel; redevelopment RFP planned for 2026
The Land Bank reported demolition of the former Food Fusion restaurant adjacent to the previously demolished Red Carpet Inn in Endicott, creating a roughly two-acre parcel across from En-Joie Golf Course; the Land Bank intends to issue an RFP for redevelopment in 2026.

In its 2025 annual report, the Broome County Land Bank described a multi-phase regional project in the Town of Union/Endicott area. The Land Bank previously demolished the Red Carpet Inn in 2024 and in fall 2025 removed an adjacent, dilapidated former restaurant (historically occupied by Food Fusion/Red Lion/Russell27s Steakhouse). The combined demolition activity created an approximately two-acre developable parcel across from En-Joie Golf Course.
