Trappe withholds final payment pending corrections on pumping station work

President Newnam asked about the condition in which the contractor left the town’s pumping stations. Superintendent Shawn Lane said engineering firm GMB conducted a walk‑through inspection and will send a list of corrections to the contractor. Town Administrator Erin Braband told the council that final payment will not be issued until the town is satisfied with all stations.
