On June 1 the Sandersville City Council voted unanimously to authorize the city to apply for the Rural Workforce Housing Development Grant through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA). Council Member Danny Brown made the motion and Council Member Deborah Brown seconded. City Manager Kandice Hartley had earlier summarized the item for Council.
