The Shenandoah City Council on Jan. 13, 2026, approved a request for proposals (RFP) under a Community Catalyst Grant to encourage property owners to propose redevelopment, rehabilitation, or deconstruction projects for underutilized buildings. Councilmember Jon E. Brantner moved the action and Richard Jones seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
