Furnas County approves Simon Contractors for bridge replacement project

Furnas County commissioners held a public hearing on May 28, 2019, to consider bids for the replacement of Structure No. C003324910. Bids were received from Midwest Infrastructure ($672,861.62), Simon Contractors ($554,653.00) and Reece Construction ($570,253.50). The board tabled award of the contract pending further review and later approved a construction agreement with Simon Contractors.
