Shelby County adopts construction-evaluation resolution to use state "master matrix" for confinement-feeding permits
The board adopted Resolution 2023-9 committing Shelby County to evaluate confinement-feeding operation construction permit applications using Iowa's master matrix (Iowa Code 459.304/459.305) and to submit adopted recommendations to the Iowa DNR for applications received between Feb. 1, 2023 and Jan. 31, 2023.
