Richmond Rising project partners give status update on $35 million TCC program
City and six partner organizations reported at the Oct. 7 CSC meeting that design work is largely complete but construction is delayed on several projects; staff said underspending largely reflects projects still in design and Caltrans environmental review requirements.

Beatrice Guerrero, the city of Richmond’s representative for the Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) grant, told the Richmond Rising Collaborative Stakeholder Committee that the program has reported 18 grant submissions and 31 committee meetings since launch. "We have spent $526,000. Our remaining budget is $167,000," she said while summarizing invoice and contract amendment activity related to invoice 18.
