On Feb. 13, 2025, the Hooker County Board of Commissioners appointed Mindy Paxton to help Hooker County plan and pursue a new county transit program. Commissioners Bryan Crisp and Thad Emerson moved and seconded the appointment; a roll call vote recorded three ayes and the motion carried.
