The Furnas County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 26 approved Resolution 2025-8-26, imposing a temporary moratorium on wind energy installations and solar power generation systems. Commissioners Dennis Tegtman and Allan McCoy moved and seconded the resolution, and the board recorded an affirmative vote from all three members: Sexton, Tegtman and McCoy.
