Board approves change order and final payment for John Koiner reconstruction

The chair presented a contract change order for the John Koiner reconstruction in the amount of $42,570.44, which he said represents about a 19.74% change (just under the 20% threshold). The primary reason was extending the 12‑inch tile roughly 1,330 feet upstream to give more landowners access; the chair explained the net figure reflects additions offset by planned items that were not completed (red/negative line items). "So that 42,570.44 represents all of the additionals with the subtraction of the things that we didn't do that we had planned on," he said.
