Police chief seeks three-year Vector Solutions contract to digitize quartermaster

Police Chief Leach told the board he seeks permission to sign a three-year contract with Vector Solutions to digitize the department's quartermaster functions, improving asset tracking, inventory, expiration monitoring and digital signatures. He said the initial startup and first-year payment of $4,260.25 would be covered by existing budget funds and that future annual charges (quoted at roughly $3,525 per year with no more than a 3% annual increase) would be built into subsequent budgets.
