The commission approved a one-step (3%) pay increase for regular employees with exceptions for probationary, part-time, recently increased, and certain contract employees; motion carried at the March 9 meeting.

County Administrator Pat Lyle requested approval of a one-step (3%) pay increase for regular county employees, excluding probationary staff, part-time employees, those who received a pay increase since Jan. 1, 2026, and contract employees whose agreements do not provide for increases. Commissioner Kelvin Cunningham moved to approve the request; Commissioner Phillip Morris seconded and the motion carried.
