Conejos County approves Yoder land division, designates sales‑tax contact
The Conejos County BOCC approved a division of roughly 100.285 acres into two parcels for Lester and Naomi Yoder and designated Linda DeHerrera as the county contact for Department of Revenue sales and use tax matters; both actions passed 3-0 on Oct. 29, 2024.

At its Oct. 29 special meeting the Conejos County Board of County Commissioners approved County Case CCLU-2024-0146, authorizing the division of roughly 100.285 acres into two parcels for owners Lester and Naomi Yoder. The division will create Tract 1 (approximately 96.429 acres) to remain agricultural and Tract 2 (approximately 3.856 acres) to contain a home and utilities. The proposal includes a dedication of about 0.32 acres for County Road 12.5 right-of-way and a 30-foot access easement to serve Tract 2.
