The Redevelopment Commission voted to forward a proposed 2027 tax-increment financing (TIF) spending plan to the town council and the state's gateway system after reviewing requested items across three TIF districts, including facility improvements, playground work and police equipment.

The Redevelopment Commission voted to approve recommended requests for the 2027 TIF spending plan at its July 5 meeting and will forward the package to the town council and the state’s gateway system for final action. A motion to approve the plan was moved and seconded and commissioners responded "Aye" when the chair called the vote.
