Commerce staff delivered a preliminary readout of the Washington Accelerator proviso, saying the work focuses on removing barriers across housing planning, permitting, financing and construction. "We were to look at barriers to housing construction, adjust the cost drivers, and look at ways to accelerate the development of housing and to increase production and also monitor production," Anne at Commerce said in the presentation.
