Park board notes Midstates Electric bid for walking-path lighting at $68,500
Board reviewed two bids for a park lighting project; the low bidder, Midstates Electric of Newcastle LLC, offered a final price of $68,500 after a $2,000 reduction. The project is planned as an eight-pole lighted walking path with pole sponsors; a Henry County REMMC application is pending.

At the February meeting, Sheldon presented results from a request-for-proposals for the park's lighting project for a lighted walking path. He said two proposals were returned and the low bidder was Midstates Electric of Newcastle LLC (Clint), whose original $70,500 bid was reduced by $2,000 to a final $68,500 figure the board was asked to record in the minutes.
