Allison Duncan, a member of the Chattahoochee Hills Historic Commission, presented a request to the council to initiate a request for qualifications or proposals for on-call archaeological services for city-owned historic properties. Duncan said the commission wants qualified firms to assess subsurface conditions so the city can understand feasibility for building, rehabilitating or expanding structures on those sites and pursue interpretive and educational uses.
