The Rockwall Independent School District Board of Trustees approved highlighted changes to the district's 2026–2027 Academic Planning at its Dec. 15, 2025 regular meeting. Trustee Amy Hilton moved to approve the changes; Dr. Sherry Packer seconded the motion. The motion passed 6-0 with one absence (Stan Britton).
