The Cherokee County Board of Supervisors voted Nov. 18, 2025, to certify the Second Tier canvass of the Nov. 4 city-school election for the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn Community School District. The motion to certify was made by Supervisor Ray Mullins II and seconded by Supervisor Cheryl Ellis and carried with all five supervisors voting Aye.
