Jury hears update on Zydeco Solar Project; site work could start in October

Recurrent Energy updated the Evangeline Parish Police Jury Sept. 8 on the Zydeco Solar Project development timeline and permitting status. The company reported the design is about 90% complete and that the building permit was in final review with the Rapides Area Planning Commission. Parish road entrance and boring permits were to be submitted to the Public Works Director by Sept. 12.
