Chambers County Commissioners Court on Oct. 13 accepted a $5,000 donation from the Chambers County District Attorney's Office forfeiture fund to support the Sheriff's Office Explorer program, presented in honor of Constable John Morine. County staff described the program's roughly 10‑year history and its role as a recruiting pipeline for local law enforcement.
