The council approved a multi‑year agreement on Oct. 13 to procure two Skydio drones and associated software and services through Axon Enterprise, a contract Chief Chris Friess said will support searches for missing persons, thermal imaging in structure fires, crash‑scene documentation and other public‑safety needs.
